The story is set in a world of vast oceans, islands, and fantastical powers. It follows Monkey D. Luffy, a young and ambitious pirate with the ability to stretch his body like rubber after eating a Devil Fruit called the Gomu Gomu no Mi. Inspired by his idol, the legendary pirate Gol D. Roger, Luffy sets out on a grand adventure to find the ultimate treasure known as the One Piece and become the Pirate King.
